The 2018 SEG Seniors' Championship (The Alan Hobson Trophy) was held at South Beds Golf Club on 25th & 26th July. Once again competitors assembled for a championship that was to be played on a parched course and once again, greenkeepers presented a course in excellent condition despite the best efforts of the weather.

Despite an excellent challenge from Tyrone Carter (Stevenage) with a 69 on the second day, Les Bruckner secured the overall win with his 74 for a Level Par total of 142. Congratulations Les. Tyrone finished one stroke behind in second and Ian Attoe (Worplesdon)with 145 was third.
