The triumphant Essex Team after winning the England Golf Boys County Qualifier at Copthorne Golf Club, Sussex
on Wednesday 28th May 2014. Their score of 723 was enough to edge out Hampshire by just 3 shots over the 36 holes.
BB&O were 3rd with a total of 731. The game looked in danger from the weather for some time but thanks to the sterling
efforts of the green staff, the course was in excellent condition and the weather eased enough to allow the competitors to
return some excellent scores. The team is pictured with the Club Captain, Paul Oliver (left), Tony Cullen, South Eastern
Group President (right) and  their Team Manager, Brian Collins (centre).  Danny Daniels of Hertfordshire had the best
individual score over the 2 rounds of 140 which was 2 under par. Joshua Robertson (Suffolk) and Jason Stokes
(Hampshire IOW & Channel Islands) were both a further 1 stroke behind.
