Tom Jordan of Langley Park Golf Club, Kent is receiving the David Neech Trophy for the lowest gross score over 36 holes. Tom is receiving the trophy from the Captain of Porters Park Golf Club, Scott McLaughlin after returning scores of 73 & 68 for a total of one over par for the two rounds. In a close contest, there was only 1 shot between the first 3 places
Hampshire were the victors at Porters Park with a total of 727 (5 out of 6 to count) from Sussex and Essex with 733 and 735 respectively. All competitors enjoyed the great course and facilities of Porters Park and that was refleced in the scores. Hampshire go on to contest the final at King's Lynn on 25th to 27th August.
