Sussex Team Captain, Laird Shepherd, receiving the Junior Foursomes Trophy from Jason Fox, the
Crondon Park Golf Club Proprieter. Sussex triumphed fairly conclusively over the other seven counties
in the new stroke-play format with a total of 448 for the 36 holes. Hampshire were second with 461 and
Suffolk in third place with 467. In spite of heavy rain the previous night, the Crondon Park course was in
excellent condition for the competition.
