England Golf - Seniors Qualifier Individual Winner

Alan Mew from Hampshire is receiving the John Nettell Trophy from the Captain of Thorpeness Golf Club, Gill Drayson for returning the lowest gross score for 36 holes. Alan returned scores of 76 and 74 for a 10 over par 150. Although the Thorpeness course was in excellent condition, the dry conditions and wind had a dramatic effect on the scores of all who took part. In spite of this, all enjoyed the course and the competition.

England Golf - English Seniors County Quailifier

Congratulations to The BB&O Team for their victory in the England Golf Seniors County Championship Qualifier at Thorpeness Golf Club. BB&O returned a total of 781 from Kent with 803 and Hampshire with 804.The team is pictured with BB&O President Rod Crisp (far left) and Tony Cullen, The South Eastern Group President (next to Rod Crisp). The Team will go forward to the final at the Robin Hood course on 6th to 8th October
