The 2014 Seniors Championship (Alan Hobson Trophy) was held on the magnificent championship links of
Littlestone Golf Club. David Niven of Newbury and Crookham Golf Club retained the title that he has held since
2012. It was a close contest and went to the last hole with David birdieing the par five to finish with 142 for the
two rounds with Chris Hurst of Pedham Place Golf Centre finishing second on count back with 143 and
Chris Reynolds of Littlestone Golf Club third also on 143. The weather was kind and the course in superb condition,
although as difficult as you would expect for a championship course, which lead to an interesting mix of scoring.
