Congratulations to the triumphant  BB&O team following their close fought County League Final against a very strong
Surrey team. This closely fought contest resulted in a winning final score of 6 1/2 points to BB&O with Surrey finishing
on 5 1/2 points. BB&O managed a slender one point lead after the morning foursomes which proved decisive in the
end with the honours shared at 4 points each in the afternoon singles. The match was played in a good spirit with the
magnificent setting of the Palmerston Course at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire inspiring excellent golf from both teams.
