All preliminary rounds and the final will be played according to the 2018 format contained in the following pages.

Each area will provide an "area winner" to compete in the Final.

Ties. In the event of a team tie, the highest number of “holes-up when a match was completed” will count – for example a 7&6 victory will count 7 whereas a 2&1 victory will count 2.

If still not decided, the number of holes-up (as above) in the matches between the tied counties will count.

If still not resolved the scores of individual matches between the tied counties will count, starting with the first match and if still a tie, matches by descending order.

The use of buggies will not be allowed.
